HOOPITUP! WHAT IS IT?
A CALL TO ACTION
On thousands of courts in parks and in gyms across the world, basketball players just show up looking for full court pickup games where they can compete against others.
When there are enough ballers, someone will let out a rallying cry… HOOPITUP! This rallying cry is a call to action, a call to all the ballers to get organized and start the pickup games.
A BASKETBALL COMMUNITY
Since 2015, HOOPITUP! has been an officially recognized by Perbasi, the Indonesian basketball regulatory agency.
HOOPITUP! started by establishing regular highly competitive pickup games in Bali that would reflect blacktop principles of sportsmanship and competition.
A COMMUNITY PROJECT
HOOPITUP! is a community project founded by VIVIDiNTRAGLOBAL, an education business based in Indonesia.
HOOPITUP! is a community of Indonesians and expats who use basketball as a way to create and develop relationships between communities and cultures; to promote education; to create networks between like-minded individuals and companies; and to support youth basketball teams, clubs and events in Bali and in Indonesia.
